The YouTube Theater thrummed with anticipation as STAYC, the South Korean girl group known for their vibrant K-pop sound, brought their STAY TUNED tour to Los Angeles for the North American leg of their global tour. The night unfolded as a dynamic showcase of the group’s evolving artistry, combining slick choreography, colorful visuals, and moments of intimate connection with their fans.
Formed under High Up Entertainment, STAYC — Sieun, Seeun, Sumin, J, Isa, and Yoon — debuted in 2020 with a mission to blend catchy pop hooks with strong vocal and dance performances. Known for hits like ASAP, RUN2U, and Bubble, the group has steadily built an international following. Their approach, mixing K-pop sensibilities with global pop trends, has earned them recognition on charts in the U.S., Asia, and beyond.
By 8:00 p.m., the theater was buzzing. The stage was simple, with an LED screen behind them projecting vibrant visuals and plenty of space for the group to execute their intricate choreography. As the lights dimmed, red stage lights appeared, bathing the space in a bold glow. A giant “STAYC” appeared on the screen, and the girls’ silhouettes were projected against the red light as they made their way to the stage, immediately commanding attention before the music began.

The setlist spanned their discography, opening with BEBE before moving into tracks like POPPY and BEAUTIFUL MONSTER. Each song was accompanied by tightly choreographed formations, dynamic lighting, and synchronized video projections on the LED panels behind them. Fans waved light sticks in unison, creating a sea of coordinated color that mirrored the visual spectacle on stage.
Midway through the show, the group slowed down their song choices and took time to speak to fans from the stage, thanking them for coming and sharing their appreciation. During the final portion of the concert, STAYC returned to high-energy performances, including ASAP and Bubble. They made their way through the aisles of the YouTube Theater, waving, reaching out, and exchanging smiles with fans, creating intimate moments that brought the performance closer to the crowd.
As the night drew to a close, STAYC performed their encore, leaving the stage to a chorus of cheers and applause. The YouTube Theater, with its 6,000-seat capacity, felt electric throughout the performance, a testament to the group’s growing international presence and the dedication of their fandom. The Los Angeles stop was another milestone in STAYC’s ongoing journey, presenting their music and artistry in a way that was both polished and immersive.
