The Wiltern, an art deco landmark of Los Angeles that has seen a myriad of artists during its time, felt especially intimate as Sabrina Claudio brought her Fall In Love With Her Tour to a packed, sold-out crowd. The Los Angeles stop marked the midpoint of the tour supporting her fifth studio album of the same name, a project that expands her signature introspective R&B ballads into a more cinematic soundscape.

From the moment fans began filling the ornate theater, the energy in the room was palpable. Groups of friends gathered wall to wall across the floor and balconies, buzzing with anticipation long before the show began. Opening the night was Canadian R&B singer Dylan Sinclair who warmed up the crowd with his sultry voice before Claudio took the stage.

The show began with Claudio confidently strutting onto the stage to roaring cheers before delivering a single word into the microphone, immediately captivating the room. Her voice, sounding as rich and controlled live as it does on record, mesmerized the crowd with its delicate and unmistakable sensual tone.

The visual representation of the show mirrored the album’s emotional tone. The stage design was minimal but striking: a sweeping cream-colored curtain draped from the ceiling and clusters of lanterns scattered across the set. Towards the left side of the stage hung a large circular lantern adding a dreamlike atmosphere with its pale white light.

Bathed in soft purple lighting and framed by a single spotlight, Claudio created a sensual aesthetic that perfectly matched her discography. The Wiltern’s renowned acoustics elevated the experience even further as every instrument in the band rang out clearly while her airy vocals floated effortlessly through the room. The theater setting made the performance feel intimate and deeply personal, making the audience feel as if they were stepping into Claudio’s world where every lyric felt like a quiet confession.

One of the most engaging elements of the night and of the tour as a whole was and has been the evolving setlist. Rather than performing the same sequence at every show, Claudio incorporated a playful moment where she brought out a small bag filled with song titles. A member of her team would pull from the bag at different points in the show, ensuring that each night on the tour feels unique for fans.

Still, several highlights stood out. She delivered a stunning and deeply emotional rendition of “Truth Is,” pouring vulnerability into every note. Claudio also performed fan favorites like “Frozen” and “Problem With You”. One of the evening’s most striking moments came with “Mi Luz,” which she performed in Spanish, adding another layer of intimacy and depth to the set.

Throughout the night, Claudio proved that her voice is the true centerpiece of the show. The performance was fully live, highlighting her vocal control and emotional range. Rather than relying on elaborate choreography, she allowed the songs themselves to carry the moment, often swaying gently to the rhythm with grace. Her stage presence was understated yet powerful. There was a sense of vulnerability in the way she performed, leaning into the slow tempo and sensuality of her music. That honesty fostered a strong emotional connection with the audience, who responded with cheers, tears, and quiet reverence during softer moments.

If Sabrina Claudio’s latest album explores romance, longing, and emotional introspection, the live show amplifies those themes through atmosphere and performance. The tone of the concert was unmistakably romantic with its soft lighting, cinematic staging, and moving vocal delivery combining to create an immersive experience.

More than anything, the Los Angeles stop of the tour showed how Claudio continues to evolve as an artist. Already respected as a songwriter, having earned a Grammy for her work on Plastic Off the Sofa by Beyoncé in 2023, she is now presenting a live show that fully reflects the emotional and visual world of her music. In the intimate setting of the Wiltern, she brought that vision to life and left a sold-out crowd completely spellbound.
