Luis R. Conriquez, the undisputed "King of Corridos," delivered an unforgettable performance at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, marking the launch of his highly anticipated 2025 TRAKAS HDSPM TOUR. With an electrifying stage presence and a catalog full of hit songs, Conriquez proved why he’s at the forefront of the Regional Mexican music scene.

The atmosphere at the Kia Forum was palpable long before Conriquez even stepped foot on stage. Mexican flags waved proudly in the crowd, and the unmistakable sight of fans clad in boots and hats set the tone for the evening. It was clear that this was no ordinary concert. Inglewood was about to witness a special moment in Mexican music history as Conriquez kicked off his international tour in front of a packed crowd.

As the lights dimmed, the roar of the crowd signaled the beginning of an epic night. Conriquez wasted no time engaging the audience, launching into some of his biggest hits like “Martes 13”, “No Son Doritos”, and “La 701.” The packed arena was immediately alive with fans singing along, clapping, and dancing to every beat. Conriquez’s music blends classic Corridos with modern influences, and the crowd’s reaction was a testament to how deeply his sound resonates with people from all walks of life.

What makes Luis R. Conriquez stand out is not just his vocal talent but his innovative approach to Regional Mexican music. He has helped shape the modern Corrido genre, particularly through his fusion of the “Dembow Belicos” subgenre—a fast-paced blend of danceable beats from Jamaica and the Dominican Republic—with traditional Corrido rhythms. Songs like “Dembow Belico” and “De Fresa y Coco” were met with an electrifying response from the audience, turning the Forum into a high-energy dance floor. Fans couldn’t help but move to the infectious beats, creating a party atmosphere that went beyond the typical concert experience.

One of the highlights of the evening was Conriquez’s unexpected guest appearances, showcasing his profound influence and respect within the industry. Despite any tensions in the business, Luis R. has earned the admiration of his peers, and that respect was evident as he brought out surprise guests. The first guest to join him was Legado 7, a trailblazer in the Corridos Tumbados genre, who performed his hit “On D Gas” to an enthusiastic reception. Not long after, Tito Double P, a rising star from Double P Records, made a surprise appearance. His performance of “Dembow Belico” with Conriquez sent the crowd into a frenzy, with Tito’s energetic dance moves lighting up the stage. But the surprises didn’t end there—Joel De La P also joined the stage, and the fans were absolutely ecstatic.

As the night progressed, the surprises kept coming. Just when the crowd thought it couldn’t get any more exciting, the lights dimmed once again, and the unmistakable voice of JOP, lead singer of Fuerza Regida, boomed through the arena. The crowd erupted as JOP walked on stage, and together with Conriquez, they performed the smash-hit “Cholo 7”—a collaboration that has been making waves on social media. The energy was at an all-time high, with fans singing along to every word. JOP didn’t stop there, bringing out even more special guests from his label, Street Mob Records. Calle 24 and Jorsshh took the stage to perform their hit “Rosones,” keeping the energy levels soaring. To cap off the night, Luis R. Conriquez invited the legendary Arley Perez to the stage for a stellar performance that left fans in awe, bringing the evening to a grand conclusion.

Luis R. Conriquez’s show at the Kia Forum was a true testament to his influence in the Regional Mexican music scene. His ability to seamlessly blend traditional and modern sounds, along with his ability to keep the crowd engaged from start to finish, solidified his place as one of the genre's top artists. The night marked a memorable start to his TRAKAS HDSPM TOUR 2025, which will travel across the U.S., Mexico, Guatemala, and even surprise appearances in Colombia. As Conriquez continues to rise in global prominence, it’s clear that his impact on the world of music is just getting started.

Inglewood was lucky to be the first stop on this incredible tour, and as the night ended, it was clear that Luis R. Conriquez’s reign as the King of Corridos was only just beginning.
