The queens of duranguense reunite for a once-in-a-lifetime anniversary concert in Los Angeles

After years of going their separate ways, the legendary Marisol and Vicky Terrazas are reuniting to bring the unforgettable sound of Los Horóscopos de Durango back to the stage—and they’re doing it in style. Los Horoscopos de Durango, known for blazing trails and topping charts, are officially reuniting to celebrate an incredible 50 years of music, family, and cultural legacy.

Formed in 1975 by the visionary Armando Terrazas in Chicago, Los Horóscopos de Durango began as a family project and rose to become icons of the duranguense movement. When daughters Marisol and Vicky joined in the early 2000s, the group exploded into the mainstream, redefining the genre with electric performances, female empowerment anthems, and smash hits like “Antes Muerta Que Sencilla,” “Dos Locos,” and “Obsesión.”

With their unmatched charisma, synchronized style, and fierce stage presence, they weren’t just making music—they were making history. As one of the few female-fronted acts in a male-dominated genre, Los Horóscopos shattered ceilings and built a fanbase that spans generations and continents.

In 2021, fans were stunned when the duo announced they were stepping away from the group to explore solo careers. While Vicky focused on her own music and personal life, Marisol explored new creative avenues and a solo career, leaving fans nostalgic for the days of matching outfits, choreographed performances, and powerhouse vocals, but in true Horóscopos fashion, they’ve come back bigger, bolder, and more unified than ever.

Now, the moment fans have been waiting for is here: Los Horóscopos de Durango will reunite on July 18, 2025, at The Novo in Los Angeles for an unforgettable 50th Anniversary Show. In a press conference at AEG Presents headquarters, Marisol and Vicky—joined by their father and founder Armando Terrazas—spoke about how their time apart reignited their passion for performing together. Calling themselves “perfect counterparts,” the sisters are ready to light up the stage once again.

The anniversary show promises to be more than just a concert—it’s a celebration of legacy, love, and Latin music history.
