FUERZA REGIDA TURNS A DREAM INTO REALITY AT DODGER STADIUM

For most artists, selling out a stadium is the culmination of years of work. For Fuerza Regida, it was the realization of a vision they had been holding onto long before it seemed possible.
On July 18, the San Bernardino quintet made history by headlining Dodger Stadium on the Los Angeles stop of their This Is Our Dream Tour, their first ever tour. What began with backyard parties has evolved into one of the biggest success stories in música Mexicana. This sold out hometown performance served as both a celebration of their journey and a glimpse into the future they continue to build.
Before the band took the stage, DJ Dynamiq kept the energy high with a crowd pleasing warmup packed with fan favorites, preparing the stadium for one of the most anticipated shows of the summer.
At promptly 8 pm, the lights dimmed and the opening notes of ‘Marlboro Rojo” echoed throughout the baseball stadium as frontman JOP appeared high above the audience before making a dramatic leap onto the stage, an entrance reminiscent of Michael Jackson’s iconic Super Bowl halftime performance. It set the tone instantly for a night that would be as theatrical as it was personal.
Comprised of Jesús Ortiz Paz, 12-string guitarist Samuel Jaimez, rhythm guitarist Khrystian Ramos, sousaphone player José “Pelón” Garcia, and tololoche player Moisés López, Fuerza Regida transformed Dodger Stadium into a full blown time machine. Inspired by Back to the Future, the show was conceptually centered around a Chevrolet 454 SS pickup truck, a personal symbol for JOP, reimagined as the show’s time-traveling vehicle. This truck appeared constantly in cinematic interludes guiding the audience through each era of the band’s evolution.
Rather than run through a straightforward hit package, the This Is Our Dream Tour played out as a chronological trip through Fuerza Regida’s career, with each era standing in its own chapter and allowing fans to relive the moments that shaped the Mexican band into the global force they are today.
The journey began in 2018, with the band revisiting its breakthrough single “Radicamos en South Central” and the early corridos tumbados sound that started it all. From there, the set moved through milestones like “Igualito a Mi Apá” and “Bebe Dame,” the group’s first song to reach the Billboard Hot 100, before sliding into their Pero No Te Enamores era and finally landing in 2026 with cuts from 111XPANTIA, their Billboard 200 No. 2 charting album. The sprawling setlist balanced career-defining anthems with newer material, underscoring how fae the group has come without ever losing sight of where it began.
The tour’s title carries wight of its own. Earlier, the band revealed that the This Is Our Dream Tour was inspired by an old photoshopped image of Fuerza Regida performing in a stadium, a fantasy that once felt out of reach but was ultimately manifested into reality. That backstory ran through the entire night, turning every song into another chapter of a dream realized through years of grit, sacrifice, and belief.
In keeping up with the celebratory mood of the night, the band also brought out an impressive run of special guests. These guests included Street Mob artists Chuyin, Calle 24, and Chino Pacas. As well as Los Gemelos de Sinaloa, OhGeesy, and YG. Each added another jolt of energy to an already electric crowd.
After nearly a decade of music compressed into one night, the show came full circle, closing exactly as it opened with “Marlboro Rojo.” The bookended structure drove home the night’s central idea: while Fuerza Regida has reached heights that once existed only as a dream, they’re still actively writing the next chapter. Dodger Stadium became a monument to ambition and persistence, and proof of what five musicians from San Bernardino have built by refusing to ever believe their dreams were too big.
