Argentine experimental pop and trap duo Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso returned to Los
Angeles for the second night of a back-to-back run at The Novo, following a first show that sold out in minutes. Riding the momentum of a widely praised Coachella performance earlier this year, which turned heads and crowned them unofficial superstars of the weekend, the duo once again proved they’re not just rising stars from Argentina, but global contenders ready to explode.
The Novo, nestled in the heart of Downtown L.A., is known for catching artists right before they blow up. For Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso, it felt less like a launchpad and more like a victory lap. The crowd was a sea of couples and tight-knit groups buzzing with excitement. Many wore custom merch and furry blue hats in homage to Paco's Tiny Desk performance look. Before the show, the bar line wrapped around the venue as fans sought out the limited-edition cocktail crafted in honor of the duo — a fan-fueled ritual before the madness.

By the time the lights dimmed, the energy was electric. The curtain lifted to reveal a full seven-piece band, dressed in characteristically playful, chaotic outfits. From opposite ends of the stage, Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso emerged, stepping into the spotlight as smoke cannons blasted and cheers erupted. Without missing a beat, they launched into “Dumbai”, sending the crowd into a synchronized frenzy as they danced, jumped, and shouted every lyric like gospel. From there, the energy didn’t dip once. The floor pulsed with movement. Every track fed the crowd more fuel.
Their stage outfits added another layer to the performance: Ca7riel in pants patched together with shipping labels and plastic scraps, Paco in layered Diesel leather, both rocking their signature cartoonish sunglasses. Their presence was theatrical yet real — flamboyant, irreverent, and deeply connected.

Their chemistry is undeniable. Longtime friends and collaborators, the duo bounced off each other effortlessly, trading verses, hyping one another up, and constantly interacting with fans. They weren’t just performing to the crowd, they were in it, jumping alongside everyone, making silly faces, and creating an atmosphere that was part concert, part party, part inside joke.
While the stage design remained relatively minimal — the band, two giant close-up banners of the duo, and not much else — the lighting design told its own story. Laser beams cut through the air, bathing the crowd in red, green, and blue hues, perfectly choreographed to each track. Lights flickered in time with drops and transitions, giving the illusion that the stage itself was breathing with the music.

The set was tight, loud, and beautifully chaotic. Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso flipped between trap, funk, EDM, reggaetón, and pop, all while maintaining a signature sound that’s unmistakably theirs. Their vocals were sharp, their timing on point, and the live band added layers of depth that elevated each song well beyond its studio version.
After nearly an hour of non-stop movement, they closed with “El Día del Amigo”, sending the crowd into one final explosion. The curtains dropped, but the audience wasn’t done as a chant of “¡Otra! ¡Otra!” echoed through The Novo. The duo reemerged, in full dramatic flair, striking signature poses before launching into “El Único”, a brooding, rave-ready track that brought the night to a blistering close.

As the lights came up, the venue was left buzzing, sweaty, and euphoric. Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso delivered not just a concert, but a full-body, full-heart experience, the kind of night that lingers long after the final note.
Their next stop on the Papota Tour is Houston and if you missed them in L.A., don’t make the same mistake twice. This is a group at the edge of something massive, and every show feels like being there the moment before they take over the world.
