AN INSPIRING NIGHT AT THE SESAC LATINA MUSIC AWARDS

The SESAC Latina Music Awards is an annual event that celebrates the achievements of Latin songwriters and publishers affiliated with SESAC, a major performing rights organization. Established in 1997, the awards honor outstanding contributions to Latin music across various genres, including Pop/Latin Rhythm and Regional Mexican.

The 2025 ceremony, held on May 28 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, marked the 31st edition of the SESAC Latina Awards. The event recognized exceptional talent in Latin songwriting and publishing. Key winners included:


  • Alex Hernandez – Regional Mexican Songwriter of the Year and Regional Mexican Song of the Year for “La Diabla”

  • Lenny Tavárez – Pop/Latin Rhythm Songwriter of the Year

  • Ángel Sandoval – Pop/Latin Rhythm Song of the Year for “Bellakeo”



The ceremony also featured live performances by Lenny Tavárez and Banda Carnaval, along with appearances by prominent artists, showcasing the vibrant and diverse landscape of Latin music.
